Bag thefts causing a big stir at Starbucks, a pensioner had her purse stolen while walking home from a game of bingo. A man who stole a handbag from a parked car in Upton-upon-Severn and forged cheques has appeared before Worcester magistrates, and another man reached into a car on Tuesday at about 4.15pm and took a handbag .

£650 was stolen in a bag theft, a thief who helped himself to the contents of a woman’s handbag has been given a 12 month supervision order, and a woman is devastated after a handbag with thousands of dollars worth of jewellery inside was snatched from her hands.

We’ve been sent a couple of links to new bag products that hopefully make your belongings safer.

Secondly there is a “theft-proof” bad, available from Pacsafe. The entire bag could still be stolen but it’s slash proof and has snatch protection!

Maurice Young, 55, used a coat across his arm to conceal his fastmoving hand as he swiped purses and handbags from bars and cafés.
