Witness appeal - woman’s handbag snatched in Skegby

A young woman was left shaken after being robbed of her handbag in Skegby, Nottinghamshire on Saturday 5 August.The 24-year-old woman was walking along Forest Road, near the Forest Tavern pub, at around 6.45pm when her handbag was snatched.
The offender, who was chased off by a witness, ran off towards Beechwood Court flats.
The handbag was recovered close to the scene but the purse inside it was gone.
The robber is described as a white man, 5’7 to 5’8” tall, of thin build, aged 20 to 25 years, of unkempt appearance with short, scruffy hair.
