A bag thief strikes at recycling centre in New Zealand, an elderly woman injured during a bag snatch in Australia, and two men stole a woman’s handbag as she waited in a takeaway in England.
An 83-year-old German pensioner chased a thief less than half her age and berated the man until he returned her handbag, police have arrested a drive-by bag snatcher after he returned to a shop where he used a stolen ATM card to buy a mobile phone, and two Southampton footballers are bailed in bag theft probe.

This is terrible to hear. I had my handbag stolen once while in college and THANK GOD His angels were present because I don’t know of too many people that get their handbags back. It was a solid black, leather drawstrink Dooney & Bourke. I was a freshman registering for class one day when a young lady (who had talked to me the entire time) jacked my purse! I’m glad I remember what she looked like and had some friends looking out for me. I confronted her and had to take her to small claims court. I didn’t press charges (although I had the option) and was just happy to have my most cherished possession (at the time; as a broke college student) back in MY possession.
